Over the last 3 months, Manel both helped us both in buying a new house and selling our existing house. There are three key things that impressed me about Manel. - Knowledge: When we made our first offer, Manel immediately told us that it is way off and won't stand. Right away she set our expectations of what the rough range is that we should expect. And she was spot on. The house got 4 competing offers in exactly her anticipated range. Similarly while putting our house for sale she correctly anticipated what the market is going to look like and what price range we should expect. - Responsiveness: As any other nervous homeowner, we were reaching out to Manel with most of our mundane questions. I believe I would have 100+ texts with Manel at that point. Manel never expressed any frustration with us - in fact I could not recall a time when she took more than 2 hours to respond to us. I am absolutely sure Manel has 100+ clients; we always felt that she was exclusively working for us. - Authenticity: We had a pretty tricky situation while selling our house. Essentially the buyer tried to trick us. We went through multiple rounds of negotiation and reached to a final offer. In the middle of Escrow, the buyer went back on their word and started negotiating again. The gap was not huge and I have seen real estate agents just making up for the gap to get the sale through. However, Manel showed great ethics and authenticity here. Clearly the buyer was being unprofessional and was not showing respect.
